Qualifications

After Hours M.A./Phlebotomist

Dept.: After Hours

Location: Long Beach       1Per-Diem Position

 The M.A. candidate will take vitals; prepare patients for physicians, record patient history, assist in minor procedures. Front & back office experience required. Medical Assistant certificate and current CPR card required. The Phlebotomist candidate will perform venipuncture using universal precautions/personal protective equipment and approved techniques to ensure appropriate patient care. Obtains specimens, ensures adequate quantity for tests ordered; labels and stores specimens in appropriate containers, completes specimen logs/records and records specimen collection. Current Phlebotomy certificate and basic life support required. Bilingual (English/Spanish). High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Medical Assistant

Dept: Nursing

Loc: Downey

1 Full Time Position

Take vitals; prepare patients for physicians, record patient history, and assist in minor procedures. Front & back office experience required. Medical Assistant certificate and current CPR card required. Bilingual (English/Spanish). At least 1 to 2 years experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Medical Center Manager

Dept: Administration

Loc: South Gate

1 Full Time Position

Primary responsibilities include on-site management of daily clinic operations for 9 physicians.  The manager is responsible for clinic budgets, staff training and development, building and equipment repairs and, in conjunction with the Facility Medical Director, supporting the PMG mission of providing “excellent patient care in a pleasant and responsive environment.” Position requirements include at least 5 years of management experience in an outpatient medical office and a BS in Healthcare Management, Business or related field is preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Excellent bi-lingual (English/Spanish) written and oral communication skills and demonstrated leadership and organizational skills are required for this position.
